PSX10 PoE+ Switch
The PSX10 rackmount switch is a professional solution for powering large numbers of PoE devices. With 10 x 2.5 Gigabit POE+ Ethernet ports (up to 30W) and a PoE budget of 130W, it can comfortably power 802.3af/at devices at the same time. The 2 SFP+ transceiver slots offer 10 Gbps connectivity per slot to the fiber optic network. The 80 Gbps switching capacity enables maximum Gigabit throughput on all Ethernet and SFP+ ports without bottlenecks.

How many devices can be powered?
The Plasma Cloud PSX10 switch supports PoE standards 802.3af and 802.3at. Each port is capable of detecting the PoE standard required by the connected device. It is therefore possible to power a mixture of 802.3af and 802.3at devices.
The amount of power supplied to each PoE port can vary considerably, depending on the power consumption of the connected device. To give an example: although the PAX1800 uses the 802.3at PoE standard, its actual power consumption ranges from 5W (just running) to 13W (heavy user load and long cable length). Consequently, a PSX10 can power up all the PAX1800 connected to all its Ethernet ports (8), despite the PoE 802.3at standard defining a power consumption of 30 W.
Mounting Options
The included mounting brackets offer to mount the PSX10 onto a rack or wall. It also can be positioned on a desk or shelf.
